Guest Post: Your Pet May Be Your Favorite Journal Writing Companion

Journaling is a cathartic activity that allows you to bring in the flow of creativity. Journaling draws in the energy that you write about. It also helps you release old hurts, old beliefs and helps you let go of what no longer serves you as well as brings forth why it is the situation you are in which can be don’t listen to others, pursue your passion, and stop wanting your parents blessings when they won’t give them to you. Simply put: don’t give your power away. This is a powerful tool that you can use to move forward with your life.

Best time to journal is in the morning, but can be done at other times. What are you afraid of? Don’t be afraid of your feelings. Your journal will not judge you or berate you. It is okay to allow yourself to be vulnerable. If it is of any comfort, allow your dog or cat to sit on your lap. They will not judge or criticize you either. They will only comfort you.

Don’t delay, get into your feelings and allow your animals to help move you through them. After all, they are our healers and teachers.
