The Wise Well Woman's Way

The Evolution of an Inspired Creator

I am a creator.

I am happiest when I’m creating. I feel connected, whole and complete. I feel a sense of commitment and contribution. I feel worthy and valuable.

I doesn’t matter what I create. I might create a meal, a dress, a painting, a poem, or a song or a dance. I might bake (not very often) or draw or paint or color or doodle.

And, I don’t even have to finish the work. No masterpiece creation is required in this world!

There is no right or wrong and the experience is by far more valuable than the outcome.

There is only the process. It is the simple act of creating that matters.

I have learned to release judgment, to play, to try new things, to take risks and to start again with excitement, especially when something doesn’t turn out quite the way I planned.

No more hiding, disappointed and discouraged!

In the beginning, I created to uncover my lost self.

I created to pull myself up out of the depths of my despair.

I created to distract myself from the truths I didn’t want to face. And, I created to give myself something to look forward to.

Over time, it became so much more!

What I discovered is that creating is my lifeblood.

What I’ve learned is that creating is a part of why I am here. Creating is a part of my purpose. Creating is what gives my life meaning.

And most importantly, I’ve come to know that we are all beautiful, magical, divinely inspired creators.

We are all creators, born of the image of the Great Creator (as always, substitute whatever name you choose for the energy you connect with most.)

And it has become my life’s work to provide guidance for you on this journey toward awareness and expansion of your creative genius.

Because I believe there is nothing that matters more.

Go forth and create, my friends!

We’re having fun playing and consciously creating over in a Facebook group called “The Conscious Creators Cafe”, please join us! No art experience required. Everyone is welcome –even those of you with “I can’t write” or “I’m not creative” voices in your head.
